Jewish Home Family Archives
Welcome to the digital archive of the Jewish Home Family.
This project was launched to celebrate the Centennial year of the Jewish Homes, 1915 – 2015. It is a compilation and sampling of the most important and historical press and photographic and video history that reflects how our Hudson and Bergen County Jewish communities have responded to the community’s changing needs: from orphans to handicapped children, from adults unable to find affordable housing to the needs of the frail and elderly in need of long-term care, assisted living, and most recently to those elderly wishing to live their final years in their own homes. The project will continually evolve, as each year adds to the distinguished history of the Jewish Home Family.
Our History
The mission of the Jewish Home Family and its constituent organizations is to provide the very best care, service and guidance for the benefit of our elderly and their families, at home and at our facilities, now and into the future, regardless of race, religion or financial ability, consistent with our Jewish traditions and values.
